Mayo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Se van acumulando las publicaciones, hay semanas con una cantidad de novedades casi inabarcable, entre adelantos y discos completos, as\u00ed que no me queda otra que hacer una peque\u00f1a selecci\u00f3n de entre todas las canciones favoritas de cada mes. A final de a\u00f1o publicar\u00e9 una lista mucho m\u00e1s amplia, pero de momento aqu\u00ed seguir\u00e9 incluyendo solo 12 canciones en cada entrega, priorizando sobre todo los adelantos. La banda de Falmouth (Cornualles, suroeste ingl\u00e9s), publicar\u00e1 en breve un nuevo EP, titulado como esta canci\u00f3n, que pondr\u00e1 continuaci\u00f3n a su maravilloso &#8216;North Street Air&#8217; (FatCat Records, 2021).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-ruFFXsv3UU\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">GENTLEMAN JESSE &#8216;Protecting Nothing&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Jesse Smith, a.k.a. Gentleman Jesse, ha publicado este mes con Third Man Records el EP &#8216;Compass&#8217;. Se trata de una especie de continuaci\u00f3n de &#8216;Lose Everything&#8217; (Beach Impediment Records, 2021), incluyendo una canci\u00f3n de este disco, una versi\u00f3n de The Fans y este temazo co-escrito con Greg Cartwright (Reigning Sound). Power pop de alto nivel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/1253694460&amp;color=%23ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false&amp;show_teaser=true&amp;visual=true\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">BORIS &#8216;She is Burning&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Este a\u00f1o Boris celebran sus 30 a\u00f1os de carrera con la publicaci\u00f3n en agosto de &#8216;Heavy Rocks&#8217; (Relapse, 2022). Una de las bandas m\u00e1s innovadoras y experimentales del rock, que una vez m\u00e1s demuestra que tampoco tiene miedo a ofrecer su cara m\u00e1s cl\u00e1sica, canalizando los sonidos proto-metal de los a\u00f1os 70 y convirti\u00e9ndolo en algo propio, como podemos comprobar en este adelanto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PdkcZlmwrYw\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">BUILT TO SPILL &#8216;Understood&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Sub Pop publicar\u00e1 en septiembre &#8216;When the Wind Forgets Your Name\u2019, el nuevo disco de Built to Spill. Ya hemos podido escuchar alg\u00fan adelanto, como este, y solo puedo decir que da gusto comprobar como todas aquellas bandas m\u00edticas del indie estadounidense de los 90 que siguen en activo se mantienen en forma despu\u00e9s de tantos a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uUe_aMhk128\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">ONEIDA &#8216;I Wanna Hold Your Electric Hand&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Otro disco que se espera por aqu\u00ed con ganas, de or\u00edgenes noventeros, es &#8216;Success&#8217;, lo nuevo de Oneida. Publica Joyful Noise Recordings. Como an\u00e9cdota contar\u00e9 que la primera vez que prest\u00e9 atenci\u00f3n a esta banda de Brooklyn, hace unos 10 a\u00f1os, fue por recomendaci\u00f3n de alg\u00fan componente de Perro. Y sin irnos al mainstream.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/N55vu4G8nSw\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">TONY MOLINA &#8216;The Last Time&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Hace ya algunos a\u00f1os me lleg\u00f3 un paquete a casa con un disco que no hab\u00eda pedido. Era &#8216;Dissed and Dismissed&#8217; (Slumberland Records, 2014) de Tony Molina. Indie del de toda la vida, pero 12 canciones en poco m\u00e1s de 11 minutos. Y pens\u00e9: \u00bfQu\u00e9 genialidad es esta? Luego descubr\u00ed que era un regalo de Costalero, gran pinchadiscos y mejor persona, y seguramente le cant\u00e9 el &#8216;\u00bfC\u00f3mo no te voy a querer?&#8217;. En agosto Run For Cover publicar\u00e1 &#8216;In The Fade&#8217;, el nuevo disco del m\u00fasico de San Francisco, y como pod\u00e9is comprobar con este adelanto, Tony Molina siempre est\u00e1 bien.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9TUnk9-Casw\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">PARTY DOZEN feat. NICK CAVE &#8216;Macca The Mutt&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Party Dozen son de Sydney, lo forman la saxofonista Kirsty Tickle y el bater\u00eda Jonathan Boulet, de ellos he le\u00eddo que hacen \u00absax-heavy noise-rock\u00bb y yo los descubr\u00ed de rebote gracias a esta colaboraci\u00f3n de Nick Cave. M\u00e1s vale tarde que nunca, su anterior single para Sub Pop se convirti\u00f3 en uno de mis favoritos del a\u00f1o de manera inmediata y el disco que viene pinta tan bien como este adelanto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/t4Lb7mk7e9Q\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">PERSONAL SPACE &#8216;Ceviche From Kew Gardens&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Otro descubrimiento reciente, Personal Space de Nueva York. Lo suyo, al menos en este adelanto, es una especie de indie progresivo, cercano a The Dismemberment Plan o Karate. Ma\u00f1ana se publica el EP &#8216;Still Life&#8217;, su tercer trabajo, a trav\u00e9s de Good Eye Records.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IwSUxbJBIHo\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">BIGOTE CHINO &#8216;Ella lo quiso as\u00ed&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> A\u00fan est\u00e1 fresco &#8216;Dile la verdad&#8217; (Lunar Discos), el EP de debut de Bigote Chino, y Alberto Charro y compa\u00f1\u00eda ya tienen nueva canci\u00f3n en plataformas. Un poco de pop psicod\u00e9lico nunca viene mal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wBrBPwN9apE\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">L&#8217;HEREU ESCAMPA &#8216;Perafita&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> El pr\u00f3ximo \u00e1lbum de L&#8217;Hereu Escampa se titular\u00e1 &#8216;Futur Ancestral&#8217; y lo publicar\u00e1n Hidden Track Records y Beauty Fool Records este a\u00f1o.
