Artista fundamental que entendi\u00f3 que el estudio de grabaci\u00f3n pod\u00eda ser utilizado como un instrumento m\u00e1s, dotando a las canciones de nuevas oportunidades para sonar m\u00e1s intensas y palpitantes. Pese a colar un buen pu\u00f1ado de canciones en las listas de \u00e9xitos gracias a sus pioneras producciones, su trabajo fue menospreciado y vilipendiado por la conservadora industria discogr\u00e1fica; quiz\u00e1s tambi\u00e9n por su disparatada personalidad, su ocultismo y su extrema man\u00eda persecutoria. Joe Meek se acab\u00f3 quitando la vida en el 67 a los 37 a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Aqu\u00ed dejamos nuestro humilde homenaje desde la Facultad de Meekolog\u00eda de Neuk\u00f6lln, con su decano Xos\u00e9 Fern\u00e1ndez (El \u00c1tomo de Chamber\u00ed): la persona que me regal\u00f3 mi primer 7&#8243; de Meek (el \u00abHave I The Right\u00bb de The Honeycombs).
